15-17July2004 Estonia has great roads and really good signs. But, I got a great surprise when I reached for my ATM card-gone. I reason there are three possibilities:
So, now I have the adventure of getting a new card. I managed to change some pounds at a local hotel and they were kind enough to direct me to a cheaper hotel near the university in Tartu. Nice room. Today, I'll explore Tartu. Tartu is a university town with lots of good places to eat and drink. I found a good internet cafe and caught up on email. The next day I arrived in Tallinn. What a beautiful city! The old town is very well preserved and the buildings are beautiful. I shared a table with Satu and Noora from Finland. Noora volunteered her boyfriend to cook an Italian feast when I arrived in Rome. |
